For thin wall injection mold, which steel should we choose, H13, DIN 1. 2344,Stavax S420.
Which one is the best? Why?
1.All the mentioned steel is available.
2.S420 is the best one, because S420 is stainless, while the other 2 steel is not, when the thin wall mold cavities or cores were rusted, we have to polish them, then the wall thickness will be changed.
